ready2climb - charity criteria

Two types of organisation can be supported at our discretionary rates - charities and charitable organisations. For the former, you must be a formally identified charity, registered with the charities commission. For the latter, your organisation’s constitution must declare explicitly that your organisation will raise funds for charitable purposes and you must be able to provide documented evidence of such.

We will provide very competitive rates to those charities / charitable organisations that are:
1) Dedicated to the welfare of animals and the eradication of animal cruelty or,
2) Dedicated to the well being and development of young people and
3) Operating in our local community (see location below)

We can use our extensive business experience to help your organisation compete against large entities and nationally organised events and raise valuable awareness and funds to enable your good work to continue. Please contact us for further details on how we can help you

Due to the costs of operating the climbing wall, we cannot provide charities outside our local community with discretionary rates. In round numbers, if your organisation is more than 20 miles from Wincanton, then our costs increase greatly - with little benefit to people within our own community.

Please note, private educational establishments are not covered by the above.

For 2009, we are happy to continue our arrangement with the Secret World Animal Sanctuary near Highbridge in Somerset. Our climbing wall will be used at a number of their events over the summer. Check out their work at www.secretworld.org
