As Lockdown #2 and #3 took hold, we started building the extension to our existing lead wall. With ‘real world’ features such as a flying buttress, chimney and sarcophagus and a massively overhanging roof reminiscent of Malham Cove or Margalef, the new walls are set to challenge!
Keep track of how our new bouldering zone is coming along. We’ll post regular updates of progress
Our Scotland Winter Mountaineering trip. This runs every year and is a great way to learn the skills required to enjoy this rugged environment. We book out a nice cottage and share the costs of instructors, transport, food and accommodation between the group. We cover aspects such as equipment selection and how to use it, day by day planning, winter navigation and safe journeying in potentially hazardous conditions.
Every November, we try to go climbing on the south coast of Spain. The Costa Blanca has huge rockfaces and even though we’ve been there twice already, we’ve barely scratched the surface of what’s available. 2020 was a write-off, but November 2021 should go ahead. These are a taste of what’s available. Join our Spanish trip by registering your interest here
